Under this scheme construction of Multipurpose Hall with facilities for Indoor Games like Wrestling, Boxing, Judo, Weight-Lifting etc. are provided and a four lane 4x400 Meters Cinder Track is laid. The entire complex has a boundary wall encompassing it besides pavillion of staircases for viewers. One such sports complex costs RS. 25.00 lacs. In the year 2002-03 Four boys named Jasvinder singh, Rahul Bhardwaj, Jagdeep Kumar and Gurpreet won gold medal in Sub Junior Asia Cup Hockey Under 16 at Dacca, Bangladesh. The Surjeet Hockey Academy has proved to be a major nursery for Indian Teams at Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior Level. It is also catering players to the major Hockey Academies of the Nation.


There is proposal to construct National Level Stadia at each District Head Quarter at a cost of Rs.100.00 lacs, in a phased manner which will have a Multipurpose Hall(50X21 Mtrs), Swimming Pool(50 x 21 Mtrs.) and a Cinder Track of 8 lanes. Besides this the stadium shall have staircases for spectators and boundary wall besides some office accommodation and changing rooms.
